Getting started
This page is for people. It takes about 15 minutes. You need an email address, a phone with an authenticator app, and an OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Slack and WoopSocial are optional.
1. Sign up
- Go to app.bakedbrie.com and click Sign up.
- Enter your email and a password. BakedBrie emails you a code. Enter it.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app and enter the six-digit code. Every sign-in asks for a code from this app.
If the sign-in takes too long and stops, click Sign in again. Your account is kept.
You land on your first board. It has a few columns and no cards yet. Rename your workspace in Settings, General if you like.
2. Connect your AI key
Agents run on your own AI account, and your provider bills you for what they use. BakedBrie does not charge for AI.
- Open Settings, AI accounts.
- Pick OpenAI or Anthropic, give the key a name, paste it and click Connect. The key is sent once, stored encrypted and never shown again.
- Wait for Working. Your first key becomes the account every agent uses unless you choose another one for a board or an agent.
Images need an OpenAI key. You can replace or remove a key at any time on the same page.
3. Make an agent and give it a card
- Open Agents and create an agent. Say in plain words what it does and when the work is done, and pick the board it works on.
- On the board, add a card with a short brief and assign it to the agent.
- The card moves to Doing while the agent works. When it finishes, open the card to read the result and its receipt.
You can add, rename, move and delete columns from each column's menu on the board.
4. Add BakedBrie to Slack (optional)
- Open Settings, Members and click Add to Slack. Approve it in Slack. Only workspace owners and admins can do this.
- For a private channel, type
/invite @BakedBriein that channel. - On the board, open Automate, Cards from Slack, and pick the channel. A message there becomes a card when it tags @BakedBrie or attaches an image or video. Other conversation in the channel is left alone.
To review drafts in Slack, connect Slack in the board's Board settings, Destinations, then in Automate, under When things happen on this board, send "Work is ready for review" to it. People who approve in Slack link their Slack account the first time they click Approve.
5. Choose where finished work goes
Finished files are kept in BakedBrie storage by default. To post or send them somewhere, add a destination on the board (for example WoopSocial for social posts) and click Test to check it before real work goes out. Nothing is sent until someone approves it, and every send gets a receipt.
For a full social post workflow (Slack brief, AI draft, AI check, Slack approval, scheduled post), follow Social posts from Slack, in the web app. You can also let your own Claude Code or Codex set everything up: see Connect Claude Code or Connect Codex.
